He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Haas and Cecilia Haas; and his brother Donald Haas. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his daughters, Sheremy Haas (Ryan) of Sioux Falls, SD and Shawna McKinna (Kiley) of Dakota Dunes, SD; his grandchildren, Samara, Sajen Haas, Stella and Walker McKinna; and his siblings-in-law, Dwayne Strom of Sioux Falls, SD and Mary Haas.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the George Boom Funeral Home (3408 E 10th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57103). A wake will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Therese Catholic Church (901 N Tahoe Trail, Sioux Falls, SD 57110).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls.
