He was predeceased by: his father John Van Liere. He is survived by: his mother Esther Van Liere; and his siblings, Dave Van Liere (Jane), Tom Van Liere, Jay Van Liere, Don Van Liere (Celeste), Bob Van Liere (Joan) and Nancy Meyer (Greg).
