With profound sadness, we say goodbye to LaVayne Jacobsen of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. LaVayne left this world on June 9, 2025 at the age of 70, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Glennon Jacobsen and Opal Jacobsen. He is survived by: his siblings, Myrna Parmley of Sioux Falls, Jolene Baker of Sioux Falls, Carolyn Wittrock (Daniel) of Sioux Falls and Rick Jacobsen of Sioux Falls; and his nephew Ken Baker (Lisa).
A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (4800 S Minnesota Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57108).
