She was predeceased by : her parents, Orlie Torkildson and Marie Torkildson (Ewald); her husband Oliver Mossestad; and her siblings, Lois Dimmen and Merlin Torkildson.

She is survived by : her brother James Torkildson (Tina) of Minot, ND; her daughter Marlys Lietzow (Ron) of Sioux Falls; her granddaughters, Nina Moran (Steve) of Polk City, IA, Danielle Steele (Thad) of Big Fork, MT and Nicole Stifle (Kevin) of Elkhart Lake, WI; and her great grandchildren, Madelyn Moran (John), Carson Moran, Thaddeus Steele, Edison Steele, Anders Stifle and Annika Stifle. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
