With sadness, we share the passing of Lorraine Joyce Matzen of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Lorraine, born on August 5, 1930, passed away on August 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Korell Ingebrigtson and Gertrude Ingebrigtson (Swanson); her husband Robert Matzen; her son David R. Matzen; and her brother Eugene Ingebrigtson.
She is survived by: her children, Curtis (Nancy), Mark (Mary Jo), Kathryn (Steven Ketcham), Dennis, Bruce and Steven Matzen. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Lorraine made significant contributions to the church community by crafting quilts and COVID masks.
