She was predeceased by: her parents, Amanda Susannah Haefker (Hollmann) and Rev. Walther Haefker; and her brother John Walther Haefker. She is survived by: her sons, David Lafrentz (Jen) of Rapid City, SD, Andrew Lafrentz (Tami) of Sioux Falls, SD and Michael Lafrentz (Janelle) of Sioux Falls, SD; and her sisters, Arlene Riemer (Carlton) of Stillwater, OK, Lois Walker (Roger) of Winter Haven, FL and Sylvia Kokel (Milton) of Manor, TX. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Our Redeemer Lutheran Church (2200 S Western Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57105). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
