She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Ottens and Gretel Ottens; and her husband Harold Lingert. She is survived by: her daughters, Kristi Lingert of Sioux Falls and LeAnne Frederick (Mark) of Warrensburg, MO; her brother Ernest Ottens of Quaker Hills, CT; her grandsons, Tyler Frederick of Springfield, MO and Colin Frederick of San Francisco, CA; and her sister-in-law Pat Lingert of New Brighton, MN.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the George Boom Funeral Home (3408 E 10th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57103). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Marchi requested that memorials be directed to Ava's House in Sioux Falls, SD.
