It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Arnold Arneson of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on March 25, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Arneson and Marie Arneson (Hofseth); his brother Alt Arneson; and his siblings-in-law, Sharon Arneson, Rich Groninga and Charlie Halvorson.
He is survived by: his children, Craig "Char" Arneson of Fort Pierre, Cindy "Rob" Polasky of Pierre and Mathew "Shannon Rockafellow" Arneson of Sioux Falls; his grandchildren, Jaymason "Tyson" Bramblee, Amanda "Josh" Atanasu, Garett "Nicole" Whipple, Tacha "Josh" Artz and Megan "Daquan" Brooks; and his sisters, Ardis Groninga and Betty Halvorson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
