He is survived by: his former wife Rosalie Yesda; his daughter Dolly Taylor (Mike) of Brandon; his wife Joanne Holcom; his stepchildren, Heidi Holcom and Eric Holcom; his grandchildren, Tanya Lambert (Chris), Brittany Taylor, Wendy Stricherz, Stacy Stricherz, Samantha Martin, Amber Martin, Alex McRae-Martin (Sophia), Riah Cole (Anthony), Ron Martin, Mike Martin (Darce), Hailey Samo, Christine Douglas, Jamal Douglas, Carson Holcom, Garrett Holcom, Josie Holcom, Gavin Holcom and Ainhoa Holcom; his brother Gary Steineke (Laura); his sisters-in-law, Penny Steineke, Marilyn Steineke and Shirley Steineke; Butch Martin of Rapid City, Rhonda Bachmeier (Jim) of Brandon, Fred Martin (Cora) of Sioux Falls, Jimmy Martin (Ann) of Mitchell and Dick.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Open House. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Good Shepherd (2707 W 33rd St, Sioux Falls, SD 57105).
