He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Christine (Boggs) and Ronald Lee Makinson; and his son Ronald. He is survived by: his wife Bonita "Bonnie" Victorian; his granddaughter Christine; his daughter Christine Malcolm (Kristian); and his brother Jerry Makinson.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Michael Catholic Church (1600 S Marion Rd, Sioux Falls, SD 57106). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sd Veterans Cemetery (25965 477th Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57104).
