He was predeceased by: his father Edward Winters. He is survived by: his mother Laurie Winters; his siblings, Timothy Winters and Susanne Huizing; his former wife Andrea Winters; and his sons, Mason and Michael.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Michael's name to Union Gospel Mission in Sioux Falls.
