He was predeceased by: his parents, Goodman Norwick and Anna Norwick; his wife Barb Rusch; and his siblings, Lyle, Don, Merrill, Arlene Kalmbach and Lillian Lucke.

He is survived by: his children, Cinda Ortman (Wayne), Fonda Hawkins (Jim), Greg Norwick (Caye), Dawn Uthe (Scot) and Jason Norwick (Jamie); and his stepchildren, Dan, Michael and Susan. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
