With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Myra A. Bornitz of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 16, 2025 at the age of 97. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Overgard and Edna Overgard (Nelson); her husband Frank Bornitz; her parents-in-law, George and Bena Bornitz; her daughter-in-law Pamela Bornitz; and her siblings, Mayme Decker, Odell Rose, Dale and Kermit Overgard.
She is survived by: her sons, Terry Bornitz (Linda) of Sioux Falls, SD, Timothy Bornitz (Claudia) of Ft. Worth, TX and Todd Bornitz (Lana) of Sioux Falls, SD; her grandchildren, Michael Bornitz (Leigh) of Ft. Worth, Nicole Aarbo (Travis) of Sioux Falls, SD, Ryan Bornitz (Erin) of Sioux Falls, SD, Lindsay Bradford (Bryan) of Ft. Worth, TX and Kiersten Johnson (Taylor) of Moorhead, MN; her great grandchildren, Esten, Elsa, William, James, Libby, Rhodes, Dexson, Josephine and Daphne; Angela Lucid (Evert). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
