He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Hoogestraat and Mabel Hoogestraat; and his in-laws, Neal and Marie DeBoer. He is survived by: his daughter Janae; his wife Janis Hoogestraat of Madison, SD; his daughter Sara Stanford (Justin); his grandchildren, Nealie, Maesa and Nash; his daughter Lisa Westra (Joel); his grandchildren, Jake, Luke and Braeden Raga; his siblings, Linda Bartels (Reubin) of Humboldt, SD, Bruce Hoogestraat (Deb) of Newark, DE and Dale Hoogestraat (Tami) of West Linn, OR; and his siblings-in-law, Dennis DeBoer (Marlene) of Pottsboro and Diane Aus (John) of Madison, SD. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
