We are sad to announce that, on February 14, 2026, at the age of 85, Nicholas Bain Wetzel in Sioux Falls, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Zanta "Bain" Wetzel and Dorothy Wetzel (Sanders); his wife Bonnie Wetzel; and his sisters, Dorothy Buck, Susan Grasso, Margaret Wetzel, Martha Beard and Laura Wetzel.
He is survived by: his children, Ben Wetzel, Sarah Thompson and Seth Wetzel; his grandchildren, Hannah Johnson (Drew), Rhett Thompson (Caitlyn), Sarai, Willow and Christopher Wetzel; and his former wife Judith Wetzel. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
