With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patrick Lee Witt Sr. of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on June 21, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Witt and Marie Witt (Dailey); his parents-in-law, Arthur and Jeanette; and his son Eric Berkelo.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne Witt; his brother Phillip Witt (Twyla); his children, Troy Witt (Diana), David Berkelo (Merry), Patrick Jr. Witt (Patricia), Timothy Berkelo and Stefany Atkins (David); his grandchildren, Ashley Witt (Tim Harris), Kayleigh Munce (Cameron), Alyssa Hedgepeth (Chad), Zachary Berkelo, Jacob Berkelo, Austin Witt and Alex Witt; his great grandchildren, Taylor, Ava, Dawson, Mason, Charlee and Ivory; his siblings-in-law, Arlen Thomassen and Mary Thomassen; his close friend Murphy; and his friend Shawna Goetzinger. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (4800 S Minnesota Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57108).
