With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Perlita Broadhurst (Sioux Falls, South Dakota), who passed away on March 9, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Perlita is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Perlita's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Kennon E. Broadhurst, MD; and her parents, Felipe Atienza and Monica Atienza. She is survived by: her husband Lita; her children, Kennon F. Broadhurst (Vanessa) of Basking Ridge, Kristina M. Broadhurst, MD (Dana) of Long Beach, CA. and Karyna A. Broadhurst of Long Beach, CA.; and her sisters, Zenida Saison and Aurora Gutierrez. She is also survived by two brothers and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
