He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Aguilar and Martha Aguilar (Ponce); his brothers, Joe and Adrian Aguilar; and his in-laws, Jim and Lila Swiden.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Aguilar; his daughters, Jessica Aguilar (Anthony Pizer) and Meghan McClain (Noah McClain); his grandchildren, James, Elyse Pizer, Sam and Oliver McClain; and his sister-in-law Jackie Swiden. He is also survived by his niece, nephew, cousins, and many other extended family.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the George Boom Funeral Home (3408 E 10th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57103). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church (5500 E 57th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57110).
