With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Breit of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on April 14, 2024 at the age of 72. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Breit to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Donald Breit and Winifred Breit (Schafer); his daughter Kelli; and his sisters-in-law, Cheryl Breit and Mary Lou Breit.

He is survived by : his son Dan Breit (Abby); his granddaughters, Eloise and Emilia; his son Darin Breit (Danielle); his grandchildren, Jaelynn of Sioux Falls, SD., Nolan of Sioux Falls, SD., Ava of Sioux Falls, SD. and Asher of Sioux Falls, SD.; the mother of his children Karen Matheson; and his siblings, Don Breit (Marylana), Jamie Breit and Deborah Compton (Tom). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many lifelong friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home (507 S Main Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57104). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (401 S Spring Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57104).
