He is survived by: his wife Eileen Bown of Agar, SD; his friend Dean; his children, Ronette Hegg (Paul), Rebecca Baird, Travis (Jessica) and Lisa Kacena (Tim); his grandchildren, Vivian, Olivia, Lucas of Joni, AJ, Henderson, Claire, Sloan and Alice; his sister Doreen Monroid of Oahu, HI; his sisters-in-law, Sola Jost of Agar, SD and Florence Jost of Hot Springs, SD; Frank and Mike. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Gettysburg Cemetery (Gettysburg, SD 57442).
