He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter DeBoer and Nancy DeBoer (Van Noort); and his wife Pat. He is survived by: his sons, Todd (Nichole DeBoer) of Garrison and Mitch (Buffany DeBoer) of Wayne, Nebraska; his grandchildren, Tanner of South Bend, Adam of Bismarck, Trevor of Omaha and Haley of Bismarck; and his sister Judith (Lon Woitte).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Porter Funeral Home - Hawarden (712 10th St, Hawarden, IA 51023). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Hawarden United Methodist Church (803 13th St, Hawarden, IA 51023).
