It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Edwards (Sioux Falls, South Dakota), who passed away on February 17, 2026, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Lewis Steineke and Stella Dot White (Houg); her husband Danny Edwards; her daughter Jessi Edwards; and her granddaughter Evie Edwards.
She is survived by: her sons, Levi Edwards (Allison) and Luke Edwards of Rowena, SD; her grandchildren, Lacie, Kailee, Mylie, Oakleigh, Hadley, Tim, Dylan, Riley, Mason and Hazon; and her siblings, Dixie Hinrich of Sioux Falls, SD, Karen Henry of Renner, SD, Bonnie Almont (Chris) of Renner, SD, Fred Steineke (Mabel) of Sioux Falls, SD and Randy Steineke (Elaine) of Trent, SD. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
