She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Mokros and Ida Mokros; her brother Ted Mokros; and her son Steven Hartung. She is survived by: her former spouse Lawrance Hartung; her daughter Laura; her husband John DeJong; and her daughters, Amy Johnson (Troy), Julie Jarvis and Peggy Seydlitz.
A funeral service was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Funeral Heritage Funeral Home (4800 S Minnesota Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57108).
