Ruth Marion Schoon Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Marion Schoon of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on November 8, 2025, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Ruth may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ruth touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (4800 S Minnesota Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57108). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First Reformed Church (4800 S Tomar Rd, Sioux Falls, SD 57108).
