It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Salina A Rauscher of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on May 10, 2026, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Reiser and Amalia Reiser (Schelske); her siblings, Roland Reiser and Lucille Myers (Don); her son-in-law Terry Schmidt; her cousin Metha Wright (Gene); Ray Rauscher.
She is survived by: her husband Raymond Rauscher of Scotland; and her children, Vicki Schmidt-Carlson (Rich) of Corpus Christi, TX, Daniel Rauscher (Dorinda) of Brookings, SD, Tamra Schwebach (Mark) of Middleton, WI and Fred Rauscher (Kristy) of Sioux Falls. She is also survived by five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (1400 S Duluth Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57105). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
