She was predeceased by: her parents, William Wartenbee and Pearl Wartenbee (Montney); her sister Dorothy Winge; her brother-in-law Wesley Kjosa; and her nephew Timothy Winge.

She is survived by: her husband Larry Niewald; her daughters, Christy Monahan (John) of Sioux Falls, Lori Ebright of Sioux Falls and Debbie Sauer (Mike) of Sioux Falls; her siblings, Steve Wartenbee (Deb) of South Shore and Joyce Kjosa of Sioux Falls; her grandchildren, Justin Ebright, Keirsten Sauer, Ashley Middlen (Nic), Jenna Sauer, Reilly Monahan, Logan Monahan, Ryder Sauer and Jase Sauer; and her great grandchildren, Kaden Middlen, Carson Middlen, Sy'Las Sauer, Trev'in Sauer and Tonner Sauer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
