It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Saranne Ensberg of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on January 4, 2026, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles VanSwearingen and Anna VanSwearingen (Miller); and her husband Dorence Ensberg. She is survived by: her children, Mark Ensberg (Colleen), Brian Ensberg (Gail), Christine Ensberg and Phillip Ensberg; her granddaughters, Laura Chandler (Adam) and Sara Hefel-Ensberg (Nicole); and her great grandchildren, Savanna and Hudson Chandler.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Our Savior's Lutheran Church or the Philanthropic Educational Organization (PEO - an organization to provide educational support for women).
