She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Clarence Hays and Helen Hays (Phillipson); and her children, Sherry, Kevin, Treva, Connie and Chad. She was also cherished by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and two sisters.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rude's Funeral Home (105 W 8th St S, Brookings, SD 57006). A prayer was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 4:30 PM at the same location.
