Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Shirley Rae Miller of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away at the age of 90, on October 28, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ora Chase and Ida Chase (Hartenhoff); her husband Harold Miller; and her siblings, Lois Colwill, Delores Cook, Wayne and Larry.
She is survived by: her children, Gayle Coates (Tim) of Sioux Falls, SD, Linda Black (Joel) of Rapid City, SD, Carol Heeren (Don) of Parker, SD, Robert Miller (Linda) and Julie Limke (Russ) of Sioux Falls, SD; her sister-in-law Nancy Chase of Sioux Falls, SD; and her grandchildren, Derek Heeren, Ryan Miller, Peter Coates, Jay Heeren, Kyle Miller, Andrew Limke, Nate Black, Jessica Limke Finneman, Justin Heeren, Elyssa Black Wilkerson, Kristen Miller, Amy Limke Barber and Lindsey Miller Albers.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Miller Southside Chapel (7400 S Minnesota Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57108). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be directed to First United Methodist Church or to Ava's Hospice House.
