He was predeceased by: his parents, Jovo Tomic and Leposava Tomic (Isakovic); and his siblings, Darinka "Seska" Caric, Vera Lukic, Pero Pancic, Gavrilo and Mirko Tomic.
He is survived by: his wife Vlasta Tomic (Vlahovic); his children, Nikola Tomic (Kristi) and Nina Tomic; and his grandchildren, Luka and Kaien Tomic.
