Susan R. Bowen Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan R. Bowen in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, born in Flandreau, South Dakota, who passed away on December 30, 2022, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her grandparents, Casper and Catherine Kraft; and her close friend Julie Burns. She is survived by : her parents, Jerry Schatz and Lucille Schatz; her husband Tyler Bowen; her children, Brent and Brooke; her sisters, Jackie Pommer (Jerry), Gina Chamberlain (Steve) and Julie Ruprecht (Steve); her parents-in-law, Joe and Alice Bowen; her siblings-in-law, Nichelle Kaul (Scott) and Ryan Bowen (Wendy); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Everly and Oliver; her nieces and nephews, Allie, Jarred (Bree), Cydney (Reagan), Kayla, Kylie, Erin, Isabel, Ben, Zach, Jared (Kelli), Jason (Lizzy) and AJ; and also Lauren (Frank).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions will go towards Brent and Brooke's education and the creation of the Susan Bowen Student Success Fund.
