He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Liebel and Virginia Liebel (Hormann); his brother James Liebel; his brother-in-law George Gibson; his parents-in-law, Earl and Elizabeth Smith; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Smith, Kenny Cavett, Kent Bartl and Earl Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl; his sister Nancy Sams (Steve); and his sisters-in-law, Arlene Nitschke (Alton), Carmen Cavett, Mardell Bartl and Peggy Smith. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
