We bid farewell to Therese Ann Goraj of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 19, 2026 at the age of 75. Therese Ann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Erwin Elkjer and Elizabeth Browne Elkjer; and her siblings, Jon T. Elkjer, Neil Elkjer, Stephen Elkjer and Ann M. Doyle.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph "Rich" Goraj; her children, Anne Marie Goraj-McDade (Andrew) of Sioux Falls, SD, Julie Goraj, Mary Arntz (Josh) of Sioux Falls, SD, John Goraj (Felicia) of Tucson, AZ and Catherine Anliker of Colorado Springs, CO; her grandchildren, Joseph, Maximilian, Casimir, Samuel, Soren and Aniela; and her siblings, Bill Elkjer (TX), Mary Elkjer Steele (SC), David Elkjer (SD) and Joe Elkjer (MN). She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Dougherty House in appreciation for the loving and spiritual care given during her last week with us.
