He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Harold Wass and Thelma Wass (Thompson); his daughters, Laurie Powell (Todd Schuldt) of Sioux Falls and Leslie Bowar of Sioux Falls; the parent of his children Lynn Oberg (Mark) of Sioux Falls; his grandchildren, Alyssa Singleton (Donte), Abby Kyle (Korey), Halle Bowar, Brett Bowar and Pierce Bowar; his great grandchildren, Jayce, Jalen, Kaynen, Ryatt, Tripp and Jovi; and his sisters, Pat Frantz of Laurens, IA and Nancy Flynn (Kevin) of Worthington, MN. He was also cherished by relatives and friends.
