He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Nuss and Doris Nuss (Halverson); and his granddaughter Grace Marie Strand. He is survived by: his children, Erin Strand (Josh), Elko, Tara Nuss of Sioux Falls, SD and Autumn Hewitt of Sioux City, IA; and his siblings, Dennis Nuss of Oelwein, IA, Bill Tripp of Camanche, IA, Diane Hutchinson of Manchester, IA, Gary Nuss (Carol) of Oelwein, IA and Linda Jennings of Manchester, IA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
