It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia (Ginny) Bennett of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on October 13, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emma Perman (Lakeman) and Ed Perman; her husband Pat Bennett of Sioux City; her stepmother Ethel Perman; and her great grandchild Amos Bennett.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Mertz (Dean) of Sioux Falls, Tom Bennett (Marcy) of Grantsburg, Ed Bennett (Christine), Joan Bennett and Mary Bennett; her stepsister Sandy Jacobs of Aberdeen; and her sister-in-law Mary Ann Metcalf (Dennis) of Castle Rock, Colorado.. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
It was during this time that she received the diagnosis of Alzheimer's Disease.
