He was predeceased by: his cousin Tammy Foster; and his niece Kayla Cleveland. He is survived by: his parents, Jerry Ellingson and Betty Ellingson (Lake Preston); his daughters, Lexi Ellingson (Sioux Falls), Kazi Ellingson (Brandon) and Kenli Ellingson (Brandon); his pet Mabel; and his sisters, Lisa Cleveland (Mark) of Lake Preston and Bonnie Harvison (Gary) of Brandon. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bible Baptist Church (2023 20th St S, Brookings, SD 57006). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at the Lake Preston City Cemetery.
