It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Hallem of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on November 20, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Hallem and Estella Hallem (Getty); and his siblings, Curtis, Nancy, Debbie and Danny.
He is survived by: his children, Belinda Prostrollo (Verlin) of Hartford, SD, Brandy Hallem of Sioux Falls and Trinity Hallem of Sioux Falls; and his siblings, Diane Ripka (Wayne) of Franklin, IN, Cliff Hallem (Lory) of Montrose, Barbara Sachen (Rick) of DeSmet, SD, Clayton Hallem (Amy Cooper) and Linda Perrin of Sioux Falls. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Heritage Funeral Home (4800 S Minnesota Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57108). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sd State Veteran's Cemetery.
Memorials will be directed by the family to the VA Hospice Facility in Sioux Falls.
