He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Running; his children, Frances (family: Boe, Anna, Abe), Redd and Geraldine (family: Calvin, Connie, Katelyn, Reuben, Kayla, Jake, Jonah, Christopher); his adoptive sons, Guy Thunder and Kelly Star Chief Sr.; his siblings, Marion and Joe; and his niece Melonie. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and many friends.
A wake will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Shekinah Glory Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Ideal. A burial will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Holy Spirit Cemetery.
