William Feist Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of William Feist of Sioux Falls, South Dakota is shared. William, born on July 25, 1986, passed away on September 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

William will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor William by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though William is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. William’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.

He was predeceased by: his father James "Jim" Feist. He is survived by: his mother Peggy Sichmeller (Buster) of Webster; his siblings, Brian Feist Gaukler (Bridgette) of Lidgerwood, ND, Renee Feist Gaukler of Sioux Falls, Cory Feist (Stacey) of Pierpont, Tracy Feist of Groton, Michael Feist (Ashley) of Groton and Daniel Feist of Groton; and his stepsiblings, Jodi Sichmeller, Amber Olson (Waverly) of Bozeman, MT, April Robbins (Marshal) of Enderlin, ND and Curtis Sichmeller (Catherine) of Webster. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Paetznick-Garness Funeral Chapel (112 N 3rd St, Groton, SD 57445). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
