It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Johnston of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, born in Mitchell, South Dakota, who passed away on April 21, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Johnston and Gertrude Johnston (Weber); his brothers, James and Larry Johnston; his nephews, Terry Sorenson and Kurt Mee; and his niece Julie Mericle.
He is survived by: his siblings, Gene Johnston (Barbara) of Alexandria, SD, Betty Mellor (Alan) of Ocala, FL, Joan Dunn (Ronald) of Sioux Falls, SD and Marcia Maiers (Dennis) of Sioux Falls, SD. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
