He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Widhalm and Matilda Widhalm (Schafer); his parents-in-law, Harold and Julia Gallagher (Carlson); and his siblings, Urban Widhalm (Norma), Jerome Widhalm (Shirley), James Widhalm (Eleanor), Matilda Miller (Louie), Lorraine Birnbaum (Lawrence), Imelda Schmit (Jerome) and Mary Jane Stueve.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Widhalm (Gallagher); his children, Kevin Widhalm of Rosholt, Susan Olson of Peoria, AZ and Sandy Murphy (Ken) of Marshall, MN; his grandchildren, Julia Northrup (Jake) of Tucson, AZ, Scott Olson of Peoria, AZ, Kayla Citrowske (Paul) of Dallas, TX and Kyle Murphy of Waterford, CT.; his brothers-in-law, Dr. Stan Gallagher (Joyce) of Wheaton, MN and Gene Stueve of Wheaton; his nieces and nephews, Brad Gallagher of Alexandria, MN and Kris Gallagher of Concord, NC; and his sons, Tony and Buddy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be designated to the Tekakwitha Living Center Activities Department.
