He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Alice Nelson; his parents, Algot Nelson and Anna Nelson; his daughters-in-law, Judith Nelson and Susan Nelson; his children, Terry of Piedmont, SD, Steve (Carol) of Albuquerque, NM and Michael (Carmen) of Raleigh, NC; his adoptive son Rick Berutco (Kathy) of Randel, WA; his children, Patrick (Tricia) of Lennox, SD, Daniel (Joan) of Isanti, MN, Mark (Linda) of Sisseton, SD, Kevin (Julie) of Sisseton, SD and Dawn (Chad) of Dumont, MN; and his siblings, Joyce Aas of Watertown, SD, Ruthie Grajczyk (Dave) of Corona, CA, Karen Taylor (Robert) of Hot Springs, SD and Roger (Carolyn) of Sisseton, SD. He was also cherished by nineteen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
