She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Ryan and Helen Ryan (Nahoton); her siblings, Vincent Max, Robert Max, Rollin Ryan and Rose Max; and her granddaughter Jeni Lee Kohl.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Chaz Renville; and her children, Fran Kirk Tease (Tommy), Valerie Kirk, Ron Kirk, Melody Renville, Tamara Friemel-Renville, Wade Renville and Steve Owen. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A wake was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Sisseton Wahpeton Tribal Community Center (12554 BIA Highway 711, Agency Village, SD 57262). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sisseton Wahpeton Tribal Community Center, Agency Village, South (12554 BIA Highway 711, Agency Village, SD 57262).
