Norman Erickson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 24, 2025, at the age of 85, Norman Erickson (Sisseton, South Dakota) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Norman farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Norman is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Erickson and Otine Erickson (Stai); his brothers, LeRoy and Arlie; his sister-in-law LaVonne; and his mother-in-law Helen Opitz.
He is survived by: his wife Carol-Lee Novacek (Opitz) of Mary's Catholic Church; his brother-in-law Gene Opitz; and his sibling's children, Randy Erickson (Christy) of Beardsley, Brenda Arndt (Kelly) of Zumbrota, Sherri Nelson (Leon) of Spicer and Tracy Davis of Breckenridge.
