He is survived by: his wife Vickie Waletich; his son Scott George (Karmon) of Watertown; his granddaughters, Karlee Zirbel (Travis) of Watertown, Kamryn Marx (Ethan) of Watertown and Samantha George of Sisseton; his sisters, Janice Neilan (Francis), Cindy Steiner (Jerry) and Connie Christensen (Gregg) of Sisseton; and his brother-in-law David Brown Sr. of Watertown. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church (525 Chestnut St E, Sisseton, SD 57262). A prayer was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
