She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Geffre and Katherine Geffre; her husband Wayne Evenson; her brothers, Laverne and Jerome Geffre; her sister-in-law Candy Geffre; and her nephew Ricky Geffre.
She is survived by: her children, Russell Evenson (Julie), Herbert Evenson (Luis), Char Evenson Wright (Bud) and Rosemary Evenson (Phyllis); her grandsons, Tyler Evenson (Danielle) and Luke Evenson; her great grandchildren, Brycen, Brevin and Brayleigh; and her siblings, Patty Geffre, Les Geffre (Rhonda), Duane Geffre (Denise), Martin Geffre (Beckie), Mary Lapka (Charlie), Theresa Hinker (Jerry) and Marcella Larsen (Donny).
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kinkade Funeral Chapel (1235 Junction Ave, Sturgis, SD 57785). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Our Saviors Lutheran Church (1020 State St, Spearfish, SD 57783). A burial was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rose Hill Cemetery (255 Ash St, Spearfish, SD 57783).
