With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Deb Meginness of Spearfish, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 12, 2026 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Bickel and Shirley Bickel; her husband John C. Meginness; her daughter Joy Elizabeth (John C.); and her in-laws, John and Alice Meginness.
She is survived by: her children, Sabra Sonsalla (Eric) and Sean Meginness (Mara); her son-in-law Grant Austin; her grandchildren, Gabe Austin, Jacob, Tenley, Stella and Baker Sonsalla; and her brothers, Jack and Keith Bickel. She is also survived by family members and friends.
