He was predeceased by : his parents, Joe Mitzel and Delores Mitzel. He is survived by : his siblings, Jill Phillips of Belle Fourche, SD, Rocksann Weiby, Roger of Bismark, ND, Glenn of Bismark, ND and Darrell; and his uncles, Jim Steifel (Wisconsin) and Reuben Streifel.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 12th 2024 at 3:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Ann Carlson School in Jamestown ND.
