With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Keith Shostrom of Spearfish, South Dakota, who passed away on March 1, 2026 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Keith may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexis H. "Lex" Shostrom and Stelline F. Shostrom (Van Heuvelen); his wife Joyce Louise Veitl; and his sisters, Jeanette Thacker and Joyce Wilkinson.
He is survived by: his sons, John and Mark. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
